PROJECTS

Stardust Journey

Stardust Journey is my first digital mixed-media collage series, using the twelve zodiac signs as a framework for exploring memory, identity, and self-understanding.

Each work begins with a self-portrait and combines childhood photographs, found images, digital drawing, fabric textures, and embroidered stitches. Zodiac animals, natural elements, and everyday objects appear throughout the series as visual metaphors, reflecting different emotions, memories, and ways of understanding the self.

Rather than presenting astrology as a belief system, the series uses it as a poetic structure for observing patterns of behavior and emotion. Through layering, fragmentation, and reconstruction, familiar images are transformed into dreamlike compositions that move between vulnerability, conflict, acceptance, and growth.

Created during a period of personal transition, Stardust Journey marks an important starting point in my practice. Each collage captures a moment within an ever-changing inner landscape, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences of becoming.

If I Were an Aquarius

Work medium:

Digital Mixed Media Collage

Creation Year:

2025

Size of the work:

30x40 cm

Concept Statement:

If I Were an Aquarius reflects on the desire to seek answers beyond ourselves.

An eagle watches from above while satellites and lighthouses reach across great distances, suggesting a search for connection, understanding, and direction. Three versions of the self are stitched together within a single body, each carrying a different emotion and perspective. Rather than representing separate identities, they reveal the many inner voices that coexist within one person.

Soft blue linen and pink-yellow nebulae create a space between reality and imagination. In this landscape, distance becomes not only a separation from others, but also a distance from oneself. The work invites viewers to consider whether the answers they are searching for might already exist within them.

Title of the work:

If I Were an Aries

Work medium:

Digital Mixed Media Collage

Creation Year:

2025

Size of the work:

30x40 cm

Concept Statement:

If I Were an Aries reflects on the desire to move forward and the challenge of knowing when to pause.

Flames and sports cars symbolize energy, ambition, and the excitement of new beginnings. They suggest the impulse to chase possibilities and seek answers through action. Two symmetrical rams, joined together by stitches, represent different forces within the self—one pushing ahead, the other asking for reflection.

Set against pale purple linen and yellow nebulae, the work unfolds in a space between movement and stillness. Rather than choosing one side over the other, the composition explores how instinct and awareness can exist together. It invites viewers to consider whether clarity comes not only from moving forward, but also from returning to themselves.

Title of the work:

If I Were a Lion

Work medium:

Digital Mixed Media Collage

Creation Year:

2025

Size of the work:

30x40 cm

Concept Statement:

If I Were a Leo reflects on the desire to be seen and the journey toward self-acceptance.

A lion stands at the center of the composition with its head held high, symbolizing confidence, visibility, and self-expression. Within its mind appears a crowd of spectators, representing the imagined gaze of others—the voices, expectations, and judgments that often shape how we see ourselves. Rays of sunlight filter through openings in the lion’s head, suggesting a gradual shift from seeking approval from the outside world to finding clarity from within.

Pale green linen and pink nebulae create a gentle space between external recognition and inner acceptance. Rather than rejecting the need to be seen, the work considers how self-worth can grow when it is no longer dependent on the opinions of others. It invites viewers to reflect on what remains when the audience disappears and only their own voice is left.

Title of the work:

If I Were a Libra

Work medium:

Digital Mixed Media Collage

Creation Year:

2025

Size of the work:

30x40 cm

Concept Statement:

If I Were a Libra reflects on the balance between staying true to oneself and seeking acceptance from others.

A swan moves gracefully through the composition, symbolizing beauty, harmony, and the desire for connection. Nearby, an amusement park pirate ship swings between opposing directions, suggesting moments of hesitation and the difficulty of choosing between different paths. At the center of the work, a small face rests upon a scale and is connected by stitches to the larger face behind it. Together, they represent the ongoing dialogue between how we see ourselves and how we wish to be seen by others.

Stained-glass windows appear throughout the composition, reflecting both sensitivity and a search for beauty in the world. Surrounded by pale blue linen and pink-purple nebulae, the work unfolds within a space between self-expression and belonging. It invites viewers to reflect on how much of themselves they are willing to change in order to be accepted, and what it means to remain authentic while staying connected to others.

Title of the work:

If I Were a Taurus

Work medium:

Digital Mixed Media Collage

Creation Year:

2026

Size of the work:

30x40 cm

Concept Statement:

If I Were a Taurus reflects on the search for comfort, stability, and a sense of abundance in everyday life.

The figure’s body is divided between two forms of nourishment: one side is covered with blooming flowers from a garden, while the other holds a basket overflowing with fresh red fruit. Together, they suggest growth, care, and the rewards that come from patience and cultivation. Within the mind, an array of rich foods fills the space, representing the pleasures, comforts, and small rituals that help us feel grounded in the world.

A bull’s head is connected to the figure by a chain, symbolizing a deep attachment to security, familiarity, and the things we value most. Set against yellow linen and green-purple nebulae illuminated by soft pink starlight, the work unfolds within a landscape of warmth and quiet abundance. It invites viewers to reflect on the difference between possessing what comforts them and truly feeling at home within themselves.

Title of the work:

If I Were a Cancer

Work medium:

Digital Mixed Media Collage

Creation Year:

2026

Size of the work:

30x40 cm

Concept Statement:

If I Were a Cancer reflects on the desire for emotional safety and the courage it takes to open oneself to others.

At the center of the composition stands a complete figure, connected at the back of the head to a smaller self. Partially hidden within a nautilus shell, the smaller figure suggests a retreat into protection and familiarity. Its body takes the form of a locked door, symbolizing the boundaries we build around our inner world. Within the figure’s mind, a crab cautiously peeks outward, embodying both curiosity and hesitation in the face of connection.

A clear ocean flows through the figure from head to body, linking memory, emotion, and selfhood. Set against pink linen and pink-yellow nebulae touched with soft violet hues, the work unfolds within a dreamlike landscape of vulnerability and reflection. Rather than presenting vulnerability as weakness, the work explores the delicate balance between protecting oneself and allowing others to come closer. It invites viewers to reflect on what helps them feel safe enough to open the doors they keep closed.

Title of the work:

If I were a Scorpio

Work medium:

Digital Mixed Media Collage

Creation Year:

2026

Size of the work:

30x40 cm

Concept Statement:

If I Were a Scorpio reflects on the ways we are transformed by the experiences we carry within us.

Three faces are joined together by stitches, suggesting different layers of the self brought together through memory, change, and reflection. From the openings between the stitched fragments, pink lotus flowers emerge and bloom, symbolizing growth arising from places that once appeared broken or hidden. Resting upon the lotus, a scorpion becomes part of the figure itself, embodying resilience, protection, and the instinct to survive difficult emotional terrain. The side-facing figure is veiled by mist drifting through a forest, creating a sense of mystery and introspection.

Set against green linen and purple nebulae, the work unfolds within a landscape where concealment and revelation coexist. Rather than focusing on what has been lost or wounded, the composition considers what can grow from those experiences. It invites viewers to reflect on the parts of themselves that have been shaped not despite their struggles, but because of them.

Title of the work:

If I Were a Virgo

Work medium:

Digital Mixed Media Collage

Creation Year:

2026

Size of the work:

30x40 cm

Concept Statement:

If I Were a Virgo reflects on the desire to understand oneself through observation, analysis, and reflection.

The figure is composed of three fragmented sections of the head, stitched together as though pieces of the self are being carefully examined and reassembled. Within the mind, a person peers through a microscope, intricate gears turn endlessly, and a small fragment of a real head appears among them. Together, these elements suggest a search for meaning through close attention, questioning, and self-examination.

Perched above the figure, a hummingbird extends its long beak into the opening between the stitched fragments, as if searching for something hidden beneath the surface. Wheat fields and golden stalks flow throughout the body, symbolizing growth, patience, and the gradual process of understanding. Set against pink linen and purple-orange nebulae illuminated by soft yellow light, the work unfolds within a landscape where curiosity and self-reflection coexist. It invites viewers to consider whether clarity comes from finding all the answers, or from learning to live with the questions.

Title of the work:

If I Were a Capricorn

Work medium:

Digital Mixed Media Collage

Creation Year:

2026

Size of the work:

30x40 cm

Concept Statement:

If I Were a Capricorn reflects on the drive to keep moving forward and the weight we carry along the way.

The figure’s body is covered by a staircase, suggesting a continuous journey of effort, growth, and ambition. Within the figure’s mind, tangled chains appear against a dark background, representing the expectations, responsibilities, and inner pressures that often accompany the pursuit of progress. A goat’s head is stitched to the figure, symbolizing perseverance and the determination to keep climbing despite obstacles.

Rather than portraying ambition as purely positive or negative, the work explores the complex relationship between aspiration and burden. Set against purple linen and blue-pink nebulae illuminated by hints of orange light, the composition creates a space where pressure and possibility coexist. It considers how the pursuit of growth can become intertwined with obligation, and how easily we can lose sight of ourselves while striving to reach the next step. The work invites viewers to reflect on whether the goals they are pursuing still belong to them, or to the expectations they have carried for so long.

Title of the work:

If I were a Pisces

Work medium:

Digital Mixed Media Collage

Creation Year:

2026

Size of the work:

30x40 cm

Concept Statement:

If I Were a Pisces reflects on the many selves we carry within us and the space between imagination and reality.

The composition is formed by two connected figures: one faces forward with a gentle smile, while the other turns to the side in quiet concentration. Together, they suggest different ways of moving through the world—one open to wonder, the other absorbed in reflection. Two bright goldfish appear as companions to the figures, bringing a sense of playfulness, intuition, and emotional depth. The body of the side-facing figure is filled with the reflection of a pink sunset across water, set against a mist-covered forest. A rainbow appears across the body of the smiling figure, hinting at hope, possibility, and unseen paths ahead.

Set against yellow linen and purple-pink nebulae illuminated by soft orange starlight, the work unfolds within a dreamlike landscape where memory, emotion, and imagination intermingle. Rather than asking viewers to choose between reality and fantasy, the work considers how both can coexist within a single self. It invites viewers to reflect on the parts of themselves that remain hidden, hopeful, or still dreaming.
